the importance of a network

I’ve never really thought about the importance of a network when it comes to blogging. There are a number of sites out there that deal with creating your own online community where you can share your blogs with. Doing so actually increases your scope since more and more people get to know the person behind the blog. Of course, when you expose yourself to the world wide web and even in real life, you get to be more vulnerable; making anonymity useless. This is especially the case when you don’t want people to know the identity behind your blog for personal reasons like safety since your blog must be really controversial because of the content you put in (you talking trash about other people and those other people notice).
