Taking a break but my mind is still about work. Darn it.

I still need to hone my time management skills which I’m really having a hard time. I don’t have that much opportunities in SocialSpark nor do I have paid opportunities lining up for my blogs. I’m already inactive in Odesk and I don’t have any idea where to get more tasks — clueless, yes I am. Oh well, we’ll wait for time to bring back the work.

I forgot it’s summer.

My blogging jobs have become scarce and I’m now relying on odesk and my other employer to give me the extra moolah that I need. However I feel weak in most cases probably because I’m burned out with working too much.

This is the sad thing about Freelance work. If you don’t work, you don’t get paid. But I’m bent on going full time on this racket. I just need to take that big leap of faith. Soon, I’ll be going it though and I’m working on it to make the transition smoother. My options are flailing and I’m still saving. However, I forget that I have a lot of pending payments which includes my brother’s schooling to boot.

Ahh, the expenses don’t seem to add up properly and I’m not even spending a lot on things already. I’ve reduced my costs to be more practical and only spend on the necessities to have more meaning. 

I just need a break.

Indeed I am busy with my other job. The thing I like about it is that I get to take a break once in a while. Though sometimes I feel that I’m useless, I know I just need to familiarize myself with the business and the products in order for me to better market and align myself with the goals of the company. For now, I’m having a good break and in the mean time, I’m also juggling work and blogging. Busy, busy.

It’s nice to take a break from the net once in a while. For a person who surfs the world wide web everyday, it usually takes its toll when you do so many things online. I go to work, I log in to my workstation and face the internet; same goes with catching the latest updates when I go home.

It’s sometimes refreshing to get rid of those pixels for a change. But it’s especially nicer when you go for a break and the one that’s paying for it is actually your source of income. Sure, the money that’s used when I earn some income online is distributed to pay for my internet service, my school and some investments for more blogging opportunities (camera and laptop), but the main avenue where I spend is through traveling. Guys all have vices; some smoke, some drink, probably do drugs and such. Mine’s traveling so I don’t think it’s that regretful. I’m a beach bum at heart that’s why when it’s possible, I’d like to just stretch myself on the sand and lounge.

I’m getting a little break doing some nature-tripping guys. So pardon me if I won’t be able to update this. I’m still glad I’m able to get some advertisers who are sending me some tasks.

I’ll probably be blogging about the advertisers I have for my site later on. But for now, I’d like to greet everybody a belated Merry Christmas!
