Danvil Plans is here

Danvil Plans is here in Cebu, Philippines

I have my own story about this company who sells endowment plans when I was in Manila for work. It wasn’t a pleasant experience on my part because I had to wait for some time before I could get my refund. I was asking myself if Danvil Plans is a scam or not. I even researched on the internet about it. There were different stories, but mostly the ones that were being published were the negative experiences. Anyway, I’ll probably be sharing my story of Danvil Plans when I visited the SM Megamall branch sometime last year.

  1. I dont know why they keep on hitting Danvil Plans, saying it is a scam, and should be avoided. I for one is a client of said company and just recently I was able to get P450,000 (June 1, 2009) of my matured policy. I read alot of comments from bloggers about their bad experience with Danvil, about how they were pressured to get the insurance, their marketing strategy etc. I believe Danvil is not the problem, it is you!! the prospective customers! are the problem. YOU like FREEBIES, raffles_ too much!! that is why you scum complaining customers were somewhat hypnotized in buying Danvil products, there is no such thing as Free in this present age remember. You could say NO at an instant and not entertain them!

  2. Emmanuel: I believe any consumer would get enticed especially if they were told that they’d get free stuff without doing much. It is true that nothing comes off free nowadays, that’s why people would be curious if somebody offers something FREE. I understand that us customers have the final decision. But hey, we can’t deny the way Danvil is when it comes to their marketing strategy as they are really good in doing hard sell. I have colleagues who said NO in an instant to the Danvil reps, but they kept on insisting up to a point wherein they question the decision to the extreme point of insult.

  3. Marketing in the Philippines can sometimes be plain obnoxious and fairly dishonest. Fam First isn’t the only company that pays people to accost you in the mall with a, “Sir, you’ve won a free prize. Scratch here or push a button.” The product Fam First sells isn’t bad, especially if you don’t get suckered into the up-sale insurance (it won’t do you any better than Phil Health, which you probably have if you can afford the basic Fam First plan). Unfortunately in our country honesty isn’t always the best policy. Reading the paperwork is.

I am a Family First policy holder and I am wondering if Danvil and PPLC is the same with family First. I need to inquire about my policy but dont know where to go. I have been out of the country for 4 years and now that Im back Im afraid about the non-existent of such company. I have invested a hard earned money and I want it back.

Please give me the right directions where to go.

    Thank you very much,
