Odesk: too busy on other projects
‘Odesk: too busy on other projects‘
This is what I usually do when I decline interview offers from possible employers in odesk. With my current workload and the things going on in my other personal transactions, I get caught up with time that I can’t commit. Offers for different job requirements and pay rates are turned down since my bucket is already full as of the moment.
Being too busy on other projects doesn’t give me the right to complain with the skills that I have. It just goes to show that there’s a lucrative market for web marketers as this form of business relationship hasn’t been really tapped by most people in third world countries. Although it’s still emerging, there’s still a large percentage wherein people are not aware what they can do online and still prefer to go on an 8-5 job that gets security and insurances in between. I don’t blame them. I, for one, am also part of that demographic until something will come up which will force me to think of this alternative as a career.
For now, I just keep on turning them down.

hi there.. how much you got from odesk???
sheila: depends really on your skill and the rate. you have to start from scratch cause you can’t get a good employer right away.
Not that much because I’m not earning a lot from it anymore.
