freelance application

I’m done with a freelance application requirement which I was tasked to do in order to see where my WordPress skills are at. There were a bunch of questions I had to answer so I had to extract whatever brain juice I had left in order to say something sensible.

This was a weird process for hiring freelancers as usually, employers would only conduct interviews over Skype or thru email. Nevertheless, I don’t make the rules and I still need another job so we’ll see the outcome of this.

I checked out the wordpress blog. I’d say you flunked that one. The questions were pretty standard interview questions and your answers were not what they would like to hear.

hi, prior to the exam, i already talked to the employer since i didn’t want to go through their application process. they requested that i still push through with the exam because of the credentials that i’ve already provided them. so i just had to deal with the setting up of the wordpress site and never put much heart in answering the questions.

if you were able to get the instructions, i’m assuming that you wouldn’t want to waste your time as well. thanks for your comment and for sharing your standards — i also have mine too.
