darn it.. i was almost ultimately happy about this plug in. this line crashed my hopes:

“You should not use this plugin when you installed WordPress from third party sources.”

I’m using 000webhost as my hosting site. They have the fantastico instant installation so I used that for my platform.

Any other ideas on how I can upgrade my platform without the (FTP, HTML, PHP, codes, etc..) hassle?

Haha, no worries, I’m also talkative, evident enough with the number of blogs I own.

Try using 2.7 na. Have you tried downloading the instant Upgrade plugin? I use this one plugin located in this link: http://www.zirona.com/software/wordpress-instant-upgrade/

You don’t have to worry about the ftp and such. It’s automatic. hehe. nagplug ba. Just make sure that you have a back up of all your posts and files. I was also hesitant to upgrade before but it was seamless when I was able to finally do it. Speaking of back ups, I need to update my blogs. hehe

It’s just because I can totally relate to your topics.

Been reading your blog and I can also relate with upgrading WordPress platforms. I’m still using frikin’ 2.5. I’m scared to upgrade it since I’m a noob at web interfaces, codes, and those techie stuff. I’m afraid that if I follow the instructions in upgrading to 2.7, my website might crash and I have no way to revert it back.

Waiting for a good soul to come by and help me upgrade it..
