first odesk payout

and probably my last. I withdrew the amount that I earned for about two months from employers. Now, I’ve been inactive already and I don’t have any tasks because I’ve been outsourced by an employer who found me through my blog.

I don’t have time anymore to work things out in odesk. But definitely this is a nice marketplace to really earn money. I’ve a friend who made this her full-time job which is really great.

For now, I’m balancing different jobs and I’ve been away from the blogging scene for quite a while already.

disappointed

I’ve been counting my savings and I’ve been reviewing my expenses for the past three months. I checked my balances as well as my pending debts and current salary. I’ve been counting my savings and I’ve been reviewing my expenses for the past three months. I checked my balances as well as my pending debts and current salary. Now I’m disappointed.

Disappointed at myself for not being able to save as much as needed. My salary has been better but the expenses have gone up too. Now, I feel bad that all the money that I’ve spent really hasn’t gotten anywhere. Though I should not really put myself down knowing that I’m able to get a good amount in the bank, but it’s the thought that I could’ve done better at getting more for the rainy days. Now it seems like I’m going nowhere.

Total Earnings for 2009

Was shocked when I tallied all my earnings from November last year to November this year. I went back to blogging on November so it would be suffice to say that my earnings report should also end in November. Now, why did I just post this today? Because I didn’t have time… it’s always the excuse.

Going back, I was surprised to see that I’ve earned this much because I kept on wondering where the hell the money went after. Sure there were loans I needed to pay and things I needed to buy as well as places I traveled to. I guess I’m trying to liquidate all my expenses but I know I’ll be all the more upset if I think about the money that’s gone; which misses out on the point of creating this entry in the first place.

earnings 2009

I am rejoicing because I never thought I could earn this much. I know I should know better than posting my earnings here because people might think that I’m such an airhead to keep on bragging about my money and such (when I don’t have a lot in reality). I know of bloggers who are being attacked by people just because they’ve posted on their blogs that they’ve earned this much.

According to my hosting provider, “There are a lot of baadddd people online” — indeed there are. Attested to the fact that I 3 of my blogs has been hacked this 2009.

Anyway, blogging as a sideline has been great; I’m planning to go full blast in 2010. And again, for first-time bloggers who may want to earn some extra income themselves, please read through my disclaimer again that what works for me may not work for you. But this is how I did it and it’s just my report so please don’t blame me if your blog doesn’t turn out to be what you expected because of me.

Peace out!

paypal cashout again (496 dollars)

Got another paypal cashout! I forgot to blog about this, probably because I was busy? –> Nah, such a lame excuse already.

Somehow I never get to reach beyond $500. Oh well, I’m not saying $496 is bad. ;p

I’m just really happy to get the fruits of my labor because I never thought I’d reach this amount even before. I guess I’m lucky.

paypal-cashout again

I need more money to come in! :)

because of blogging, i bought a new phone

My phone was cracking up whenever I would receive a message from one of my contacts that I knew I had to buy a new phone. So I bought a new T700 which I liked since I wanted my new phone to be from Sony Ericcson. I chose this one as this was the cheapest among the items on promo, anyway I’m not that big on cellphones. At least I’d have something to listen to whenever I’d like to play some music and such.

Again, it’s all because of blogging that I was able to buy this new phone. Hope to keep these gadgets coming!

$427 PayPal cashout

My biggest cash out to date! I cashed out 427 dollars last Friday which is really great so I can pay my credit card account in full.

I was planning to let this account reach $500 and it’s likely I would be able to do so but I needed the cash so I could stop accumulating interest. The money is supposed to be used for my education but I figured that I’d rather pay off the plastic cause I don’t want to pay the interest every month when I can just save it directly. The interest would go to savings which actually makes sense.

I don’t know how many months this has been in my Paypal account until it reached like this but I’ll be giving another breakdown report by November as my earning some extra income online will be running two years already.

Withdrew $427 from Paypal!

$201 SocialSpark cashout

I cashed out some funds from SocialSpark! I withdrew 201 dollars from my account which is the amount accumulated ever since I became active in looking for opportunities some time last June 2009. Now I can put them in my paypal account so I could just accumulate the money to pay off old debts. I’m glad, really really glad of SocialSpark as it’s the only big money-making opportunity that I’ve been getting these months (can’t stress this as much as I can). At least there’s a somewhat steady stream of tasks that I get to write for my blogs and the amounts are big (least is $5 per post and would reach $25). Even if all my sites’ Page Ranks are 0, I still got to be competitive because of RealRank. Thanks SocialSpark!

I still have some Pending Payouts but we’ll save them for later.

withdrew a hundred bucks from Social Spark

I was able to withdraw about a hundred bucks from SocialSpark some time last month. I used the money up for my Manila trip considering that I didn’t bring enough cash. The hundred dollars was actually around 5 months worth of waiting for opportunities in this marketplace. I’m just glad to be able to get some available tasks especially that I’m not really that lucky with PayPerPost or other forms of blogger-advertise networking sites.

What I like about Social Spark is that despite having to wait around 30 days for the payent to arrive, you still have the option to cash out your money. Meaning, it will still be under your account until you wish to cash them out before you can put it to your paypal address. That means more transactions and then you can save more because you have to really take a bit of your time to get your money. Sometimes when it’s a bit of a hassle for you, you just want to put the money in one corner until it all piles up until it becomes big. I wouldn’t have enjoyed the hundred dollars if it weren’t for this feature. Don’t get me wrong, once you cash out your money in Social Spark, it will automatically go in your paypal account; and no, there are NO CHARGES for cashing out. I just like the fact that I have an excuse not to get the money right away. hehe.

2nd Google Adsense Payout!

I got my second payout from Adsense!

About $103, and I earned it in a span of 3-4 months I believe which is just a quarter of the time I was able to spend in order to come up with this amount compared to my first adsense payout.

Still, this is already big enough an amount considering that I only have personal blogs to help me out that doesn’t have that much high traffic. I’m still glad that I was able to withdraw some money through Western Union because of this.

withdrew 247 dollars for my trip

I withdrew 247 dollars from my Paypal account.

I needed the money again, I’ll be leaving for a trip to Davao by Thursday and I don’t have any cash left. I was planning to make it reach about 500 bucks first but since I needed some dough badly, I guess I’ll have to save again.

——————-

Anyway, no worries for me as I’m starting to earn in oDesk and I’m doing some sideline work already. Plus some cashouts from Google Adsense as well as those other opportunities such as in SocialSpark and PayPerPost, I know I’ll be able to replenish the account again.

School will be over and I’m planning to study some short term course so that the school can provide me some much-needed adobe and dreamweaver lessons. I hope everything turns out right. I’ll be getting that sought-after 8-hour sleep but I just need to finish the end of the month first.
