some tasks I become choosy

I bought one! But I’ll be discussing it probably tomorrow or the next day. I don’t have much time right now with all the things going on at work and the requirements I have to finish in school. I’m already too sleepy because of what I was able to buy awhile ago. I’ve been awake for more than 24 hours now but I have to wake up early tomorrow for a class field trip.

Anyway, it seems that I’ve been getting a number of tasks (though with small amount) from Payperpost. But I don’t want to write some of them as the requirements were a bit taxing even for me. I don’t want to write about botox procedures and then embed a video of the procedure on my sites. I guess I’ve become a bit choosy with the opportunities that I take. Besides, it’s going to be in my blog that is being published so I better just lie low with some of them that aren’t that appealing even when I feel desperate.

Because of this, I haven’t earned as much right now.

  1. True. It doesn’t really matter how much you will get from writing, what matters most is that you enjoy what you write.

    Good day! Great post.

  2. gee: Yeah true, I can still take writing about underarm hair removal or botox injection, but to embed a video out, I’d rather pass. hehe.

    Thanks for dropping by! :)

  3. It is a tricky balance sometimes – do you take the money, or do you stick with posts that fit with your blog and your readers will actually want to read.

  4. yeah, but how good you are as a blogger is sometimes determined by how well you are able to incorporate those text links without sounding spammy.

  5. Hey man – I’m enjoying reading about all your earnings that you’re making through blogging. I made about $1400 my first year (just ended in December). At first, I was a sponsored blogging maniac, and I did six posts a day, all relevant content, half sponsored, half not. I did this while I was at work in between calls here at the Help Desk. Then a few months into it, I lost momentum because Google smacked down my PR and I was no longer getting good opps. I bought a lot with my money though, like a TomTom One GPS, took my gf out to eat a lot, etc. If you haven’t already, you should check out IZEA’s other venture, SocialSpark, which discounts your PR completely – it’s based on your blog’s RealRank and Alexa score. http://www.socialspark.com/ I’m getting good opps there.

  6. The Raging Tech: ey bro. Yeah, Google can be a pain in the butt sometimes. I have 5 sites now and I’m planning to market most of them to sponsors. We more or less, earned the same amount in my first year. I do PayPerPost, SocialSpark, Blogsvertise. I don’t have that much opportunities in SocialSpark, but it’s one of the more active sites on my list. Thanks for dropping by my blog!
