finding Jacque D’Azur

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of goviral. All opinions are 100% mine.

There is such a label called a guy’s guy: your best bud, your wingman, your ally. He’s the pal you hang out with the most because you feel comfortable being around and makes you feel important. A guy that that doesn’t need to act cool cause he is one and it comes out naturally. In the world of movies, Jacques D’Azur, is such a guy.

my vacation is over

I’m now going back to work and I haven’t even done a lot of work even on leave. I just felt the need to sleep while I was away but I’m still exhausted from all the stuff that I’ve been doing.

iLasik Video contest winners

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Incendia Health. All opinions are 100% mine.

Some time ago, I blogged about the iLASIK Video Contest wherein people could submit entries on how laser vision correction by Abbott Medical Optics Inc. (AMO) was able to change and improve the lives of people who have undergone the procedure in order to address their sight.

got 3 days left until my leave is over

As usual, I’m cramming and I’m waiting for the time to make things even worse. These freelance jobs can leave one exhausted especially when one task comes after another and you’ve already started a pace that would make you even ask for more jobs. But when you don’t have any jobs to work on anymore, the momentum is broken and the cycle leaves you drained.

freelancing: employer compliments

One of the best things that a freelancer can receive would be compliments for a job well done from the employer.

answering and reading emails

Darn, I thought I could get away from the office when it was time for me to go home. When I checked my emails in a cafe, I saw a lot of messages waiting to be answered. To think that this is my sideline and I’m supposed to comply and follow each of them. I’m stoked with the workload!

bills and payments

I have a headache now thinking about bills and payments. I’m planning a budget but it seems that there are instances — unplanned ones — that are cropping up and I’m forced to pay them off before they go out of proportion.

checking my expenses

I’m seeing that I’m spending more than what I’m earning which is a big no-no.

I was planning to take a hike during my week-long vacation leave from work but it seems that even the promo fares is just too much for me. I had to reorganize the payments and I found out that there are still a  number of areas where I still needed to put my money to good use.

break

Taking a break but my mind is still about work. Darn it.

I still need to hone my time management skills which I’m really having a hard time. I don’t have that much opportunities in SocialSpark nor do I have paid opportunities lining up for my blogs. I’m already inactive in Odesk and I don’t have any idea where to get more tasks — clueless, yes I am. Oh well, we’ll wait for time to bring back the work.

my friend received a laptop from his employer in odesk

Well actually, she bought the laptop herself due to the hassles of shipping overseas and other complications that arise in sending out a device to the Philippines. But that’s beside the point already; she got a laptop as a bonus for the services she’s been doing for an employer of hers.
