Danvil Plans is here

Danvil Plans is here in Cebu, Philippines

I have my own story about this company who sells endowment plans when I was in Manila for work. It wasn’t a pleasant experience on my part because I had to wait for some time before I could get my refund. I was asking myself if Danvil Plans is a scam or not. I even researched on the internet about it. There were different stories, but mostly the ones that were being published were the negative experiences. Anyway, I’ll probably be sharing my story of Danvil Plans when I visited the SM Megamall branch sometime last year.

withdrew 247 dollars for my trip

I withdrew 247 dollars from my Paypal account.

I needed the money again, I’ll be leaving for a trip to Davao by Thursday and I don’t have any cash left. I was planning to make it reach about 500 bucks first but since I needed some dough badly, I guess I’ll have to save again.

Anyway, no worries for me as I’m starting to earn in oDesk and I’m doing some sideline work already. Plus some cashouts from Google Adsense as well as those other opportunities such as in SocialSpark and PayPerPost, I know I’ll be able to replenish the account again.

School will be over and I’m planning to study some short term course so that the school can provide me some much-needed adobe and dreamweaver lessons. I hope everything turns out right. I’ll be getting that sought-after 8-hour sleep but I just need to finish the end of the month first.

lost my wallet

Just when I think nothing could go wrong and everything would just go smoothly with all the sidelines I’ve been doing, I suddenly lost my wallet. Either that, or I’m a victim of a pick-pocketing scheme while I was riding a PUV. Shoot, it’s frustrating not because of the money that’s inside (I barely had 20 bucks), but because of the important cards (credit, ATM, government and some discount and health benefits), I have to painstakingly report them one by one. It’s upsetting just thinking about it. Sheesh.

am I ready for oDesk?

I’m pooped. I just finished building (or trying to) my profile in order to be more visible to different buyers.

oDesk is sort of a marketplace for freelance jobs wherein buyers (companies, employers) and providers (employees) meet and transact business. There are a range of services that are available.

I actually signed up for an account some time in December of last year, but I never got to set up my resume, portfolio, skills, etc. cause I felt that it was too tiring.

However, one of my readers, Faith, commented in this blog that I should try it out. After a couple of emails, I was encouraged to start filling in those blank sheets and taking some exams to be noticed more.

So now I’m a bit drained from overthinking and from the energy I used up. But upon realizing the amount of income Faith earned (around $1000 ) in her first month, I know this will all be worth it. She’s a nursing student by the way which is also something to be amazed about because she doesn’t have any formal training with computers since she’s more trained in the medical field.

The only problem I have right now is how to find those buyers and how to start the oDesk tool. Also, I need to find TIME. I’ll be done with school 2 weeks from now so it’s something I’m really looking forward to this summer. I plan to take up a number of activities and this is on top of my list.

self-sustain

I’m feeling good right now with all the things that have been happening. I’ve been able to buy some stuff that I want and I was able to use money that I earned for doing the craft that I want which is blogging.

I would now wonder if I can have a World Class Home Based Business without having to worry about going to a particular place or office. You’ll definitely save time and money from the ride and the pressure.

It makes the desire to work at home and be self-sustaining great. I’m still in the process of getting there by building my profile of a site that caters to freelance writers like me.

because of blogging, I was able to my first DSLR camera!

My hp bebe came with a twin! And it’s all because of blogging, again!

A week after I got my laptop, I was able to purchase another passion gadget, my DSLR camera. I was too high to tweak the former that’s why I never had much time to talk about the latter. I’m still on a high about having both these gadgets in February (there’s something about this month) but I know I should be able to find my return of investment.

I’ve always liked loved taking pictures and I’ve been wishing to get my own DSLR camera the moment I bought my first point and shoot one. Now, I’m having a bit of a time understanding the complexities of aperture, ISO sensitivity, depth of field, shutter speed, etc. since I’m still an amateur at this.

But again, it’s nice to realize your goals and be able to achieve them one way or another. It’s especially fulfilling knowing that the amount that you were able to raise is due to perseverance, hardwork and patience.

I actually bought another site because of this, which I had been meaning to get ever since I was able to take pictures. Now, everything has come to fruition. I plan on expanding this sideline and hopefully, I’ll be able to earn more than my work salary here.

Again, it’s all because of blogging! :)

money, come to me

Sometimes I wonder if I’m spending too much money. I know it should come the opposite way (not out my hands).

Now let’s master the art of making money work for us. Cash should flow our way.
