I’d like to take this opportunity to greet everyone a Happy New Year!

I wish for the new year to bring me more opportunities to earn some more moolah online. Let’s bring in the money!

I’m getting a little break doing some nature-tripping guys. So pardon me if I won’t be able to update this. I’m still glad I’m able to get some advertisers who are sending me some tasks.

I’ll probably be blogging about the advertisers I have for my site later on. But for now, I’d like to greet everybody a belated Merry Christmas!

After analyzing the graph of the previous entry I created, I realized that I’ve hit the jackpot when a certain company provided me a link of their page tool which housed a number of advertisers wanting to sell links to bloggers so long as you have a domain. The great thing about this is that they will immediately send you the money within 24 hours. Also, it doesn’t require a great number of writing skill cause all you have to do is use all their keywords and insert them to those blog entries you’ve already created.

They call it the hotsheet tool, and since I have two domains, I was really a lucky person in being able to post all the entries that I had. Through linknerve, I was able to earn $495 which almost half of what the total earnings I got for the past year!

I still hope that the hotsheet tool will still be available sometime soon.

Ha, was having a hard time trying to import my posts from my blogger account (http://edearns.blogspot.com) to my new domain in wordpress (http://edearns.com). I wonder how many times I scratched my hand for trying so hard and feeling so lame.

In any case, I’m able to import my blogspot posts to this new wordpress blog.

What I did before is keep on changing the folder names using my ftp client (Filezilla). But I always had errors.

And I don’t want to painstakingly copy and paste all my entries from the first to the present one by one cause it’s such a tedious task.

I tried to install, uninstall and reinstall my wordpress versions cause probably there’s a bug in the Wordpress versions somewhere. However, I don’t know what happened that all of them have some issues with the “Magic Button” for Importing. Because when I tried to press it, I just couldn’t import anything, it would just stay stagnant.

When I was able to chance upon a forum for Blogspot users wanting to import their posts to Wordpress, most of those posts didn’t have any clear answer. It would be hard as well cause I don’t know how updated the conversations were.

But I was able to chance upon a post that said you can create a free Wordpress blog and then use that Import Button, and then Export it from your free Wordpress Blog to your domain.

So basically, that’s what I did. I created a free wordpress account, used the import button of wordpress and now the entries are in my free wordpress blog. Afterwards, I exported my free wordpress account entries and saved a file on my computer. Then, I imported the Wordpress.com to my new domain in Wordpress.org.

Blogger/Blogspot –> Wordpress.COM (free account) -> Wordpress.ORG (paid account)

Waaa. I also encountered some problems along the way like having issues with the READ/WRITE access. Apparently you have to grant access by changing the permissions.

I was so upset and I almost wanted to give up. However, I remembered that I had the same problem during the first website that I set up; so I tried to lengthen my patience. After doing the necessary troubleshooting, I’m now able to update all my blog entries! It’s so tiring when you don’t know where to start. At least right now, if ever I’ll create some new sites, I’ll have this as a guide to help me.

I was able to treat my colleagues at work to dinner!

I promised them that I’d treat them one of these days when I would get my payout. Once I did get my first Google Adsense Payout, I wasn’t really able to share my blessings right away. I used the money to pay off some old debts and rotate it in order to maximize time. Once I was able to get it back, I suddenly told them I was to treat them out.

All 12 of them, hehe. We went out to a restaurant near our place. This was my promise to them and although it got delayed, the important thing is I stayed true to my word. Now that everything’s settled, the next Google Payout that I’ll be receiving will be entirely for myself alone. hehe. But still, it’s going to be awhile once I receive it. It actually took me a year to get my first Adsense payout due to the minimal traffic that my sites get. But I’m still happy though.

I bought this site’s domain at 3ix.com. One of the biggest reasons is because the price is just a dollar per month. I can’t find any web-hosting service that’s cheaper. Also, because the person who referred me to buy a package at their site is a colleague whom I trust when it comes to computers. I’m still learning my ropes in creating this website. But I’m glad I’m learning.

From edearns.blogspot.com, it’s now edearns.com.

Aside from the hosting service, I also paid for the domain name. So all in all, I paid about 24 bucks just to get this site for a year. Considering the amount that I earned, last year, I gladly paid the amount with high hopes that I’ll be able to recover the money soon.

I had a bit of a time too on how I was able to set this site up since there was a bit of a problem with the folders maybe. I’ll be blogging about it next time. For now, the service of 3ix.com is getting better. Although you can’t expect much since they only have chat technical support, it would already suffice for me.

Get a 3ix.com domain for one dollar per month. I don’t have much files that I need to upload so you don’t have to pay for much. I actually got what I asked for. Besides, this site doesn’t really have that much traffic so the deal is really okay for beginners like me.

Can’t seem to update over the weekend, school and work has been bugging me. To think that I didn’t have classes yesterday. My mind is too preoccupied to try and update an entry or share new posts. I want to talk about making money and I want to publish an entry on how I was able to purchase this domain, edearns.com. Somehow, I guess it’ll have to wait as I have some tests and reports to finish.

After almost two days of going back and forth this computer, I’m able to upgrade and set this website up!

Will be officially introducing edearns.com over the weekend when I have more time. Now, my head can rest.
